How We Got Started

Our founder (Cary) always wanted to start a homebrew club, so he decided to create a forum for homebrewers old and new to gather and see what flourished. He brewed alone for years but then met a few fellow homebrewers in 2016/2017 and decided this was close enough to a quorum. Let's start the homebrew club! Not a very exciting start, but we are having fun now. We are passionate about brewing beer and are successful in our endeavors.

Pre-Covid we has close to 30 members, but life changes things. We are actively growing  the club again, and meet monthly with a great turn out of talented brewers. We enjoy beer tastings, visiting breweries, education, experimentation, and passing of knowledge. We learn from our experiences and our mistakes to be better brewers. We talk with brew professionals, host learning sessions, enter judging competitions, and have experimental brew projects. Pre-Covid we often were the top three at most regional beer competitions, placed in the National Homebrew Competition, and a few of our members went to the finals in San Diego, CA for the TV show Beerland. Above all else, we brew and drink good beer (responsibly) together in friendship.

The Club

Don't you love it when a good thing comes together. This club has attracted a great group of talented brewers who all share the same long term vision for the club.
